The Lincs Wind Farm is a wind farm currently under construction 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) off Skegness on the east coast of England.[1] Construction of the 270 megawatt (MW) project began in 2010 using 75 3.6 MW Siemens Wind Power‎ wind turbines. The project, due to be operational in 2012, will cost £725 million ($1.2 billion) and will be able to supply 200,000 customers.[2] Construction began in March 2011.[3]

The Lincs Wind Farm will be developed by Centrica.[2] DONG Energy and Siemens Project Ventures will pay 50% of the project's development costs.[4]
